Which Are The Best Lego Star Wars Sets?
Star Wars and Lego are a marriage made in Heaven, but the question is which are the best Lego Star Wars sets?
With the diversity of the ranges in the Lego store now, it’s such a hard choice to narrow down which is the best, the most popular or the must have for collectors. I started as a child collecting the original type of Lego bricks, but this brand leader keeps rolling now new collections and collectibles.
If you are a fan of Star Wars and looking forward to the newest addition to the ever-expanding Star Wars universe in the film Solo: A Star Wars Story, you will be excited to learn about this awesome model set from LEGO.
Looking At The Kessel Run Millennium Falcon
With the new Solo: A Star Wars Story film proving popular, LEGO released a new set called Kessel Run Millennium Falcon. Tying in with the film, in which we see Han Solo, Chewbacca, and Lando Calrissian in their early days, this set displays the Millenium Falcon in its early days, as well, before it collects all of its battle scars from Han and Chewy’s misadventures.
With 1,414 pieces, assembling this set is a much less daunting task than LEGO’s last Millenium Falcon release, which came with five times as many pieces! Also included with the set are 7 action figures. Among them are Han Solo, Chewbacca, and Lando Calrissian as they appear in the new prequel, as well as Qi’ra, a character who will be introduced in the film.
As with past versions of the Millenium Falcon LEGO has released, the Kessel Run Millennium Falcon has flip up panels that allow you to easily view the interior of the model, which includes the cockpit, bar, bunks, and Dejarik table. Also included with the set is the model of an escape pod, which is likely to have some significance to the upcoming film.
Best Lego Star Wars Sets Conclusion
With the Kessel Run Millennium Falcon set, LEGO has released a bit of an Easter egg about Solo: A Star Wars Story. Considering what we have heard Han say about the smuggler’s route in the original trilogy and the fact that it is what inspired this new set from the toy brand, it is pretty safe to say that it, the Kessel Run, will feature in the plot of the new film. As for the model itself, it seems like a fun build without being overly complicated. Consider adding it to your LEGO Star Wars collection, or having it be the first in a new collection if you haven’t started one yet!
